Characterise the speed of spreading of an pathogen whose jump distances follow power law distribution. Using lattice-based simulations (C++) and scaling arguments I modelled the asymptotic speed expected. I added stochasticity and space travelled as a constraint (non-instantaneous jumps). Assuming a controlled way to implement the cost, we present theoretical results supported by simulations, whether one wants to accelerate the spreading or to slow it down.
