Vasilii Kurian

As a volunteer expert for the Association, I contributed to research and analytical tasks focused on rural development and cultural preservation. I assisted in evaluating candidate villages for inclusion in the national network, based on infrastructure, heritage value, and sustainability potential. My role involved conducting field assessments, compiling socio-economic profiles, and helping design promotional materials to support tourism and investment. I also helped develop strategic recommendations for rural territories seeking to enhance their visibility and resilience. This experience reinforced my interest in rural planning and deepened my understanding of how spatial identity supports long-term development in small communities.
