Waves of Change is a non-profit organization whose mission is to make coastal cities and their ecosystems future proof ie. more resilient and sustainable. Since 2019, our coalition has established itself as a unique multi-stakeholder platform for addressing the key challenges facing coastal cities and territories on every continent through innovation and conservation projects in seven verticals (coastal adaptation, water management, waste management & circularity, energy transition, sustainable mobility, biodiversity & public health, sustainable tourism & local communities) and two horizontal areas (financing, talent). Our international forum, held annually in Biarritz, FR, is complemented by the year-round activities of our Coastal Cities Impact Facility, a dedicated tool for initiating, facilitating, growing, and financing projects, as well as various community events.
