Maestro is a next-generation operating system for performant embedded systems with real-time capabilities. I have helped growing HIPPEROS from a spin-off into a successful company and Maestro from a prototype to a product. As we work in a critical environment, our development flow is rigorous yet agile. I cover the technical aspects of software development at each level: designing the architecture, optimizing the use of multi-core processors and developing low-level code (C code). I introduced tools to automate and optimize parts of the software development process. • Responsible of the memory management module • Ported the Maestro RTOS on new processor architectures and developed the associated device drivers • Introduced Scrumban and wrote methodology procedures • I was in charge of the IMICRASAR project in collaboration with Thales to implement mixed-criticality solutions for avionic applications • Implemented POSIX-compliant interfaces to facility the inter-operability between Maestro RTOS and other operating systems • Technology evangelist: introduced use of several technologies and contributed to open source projects • Author of a C++ test library

I helped first year and second year students from the Faculty of Sciences with their computer science courses. The students come with their issues and I explain them everything they need to solve it. It required teaching abilities but also communication skills.

Analysis and development of an application which reads NFC card (Near Field Communication) and forward some information from the card to a web service. The application has been written in Java. Development of a periodic job which reach a web service in order to retrieve some data. This script has been written in PHP.

Internship about probabilistic real-time analysis. I have written a state of the art over the tools and the scientific articles about the computation of the worst-case execution time of tasks. Moreover I suggest ideas to model task arrivals in real-time systems. Keywords: real-time, execution time, probability, statistics, stochastic process, extreme-value theory

I did the analysis and development of new functionalities of a social website regarding the statistics and I improved the performance (speed but also memory use) over the already implemented functionalities. This work of optimization went from the profiling to the writing of faster code. I essentially wrote complex SQL queries to replace inefficient PHP code. I rewrote some parts of the PHP code and I also wrote new parts in the library to make the further performance improvements easier.

Development from scratch of a social website within a team of 4 people. We used the PHP language with the Zend Framework.
