SofFlexDesk – Smart Workspace Reservation Platform SofFlexDesk is an innovative platform designed to optimize workspace management in today’s evolving work environment, where flexibility and hybrid work models are becoming the norm. Developed as part of my final-year project during my internship at Sofrecom Tunisie, this solution addresses the pressing challenge of efficiently allocating limited office spaces among a large number of collaborators. The platform enables users to easily reserve desks, meeting rooms, and workspaces dynamically through an intuitive web and mobile interface built with Angular and Flutter. On the backend, Spring Boot powers robust APIs connected to a PostgreSQL database, ensuring secure and scalable data management. Key features include interactive floor plans integrated via Archilogic API, role-based access control for admins, managers, and collaborators, real-time reservation updates, and detailed analytics on workspace occupancy. The project embraces Agile Scrum methodology, fostering close teamwork and iterative development. SofFlexDesk not only streamlines physical space utilization but also promotes collaboration and supports organizations in their digital transformation journey. This project gave me hands-on experience in full-stack development, API integration, Agile project management, and working within a multidisciplinary team. I’m proud to have contributed to a solution that improves workplace efficiency and user experience while preparing myself for the challenges of modern software engineering.
