Providing geospatial data and image processing support by downloading, preparing, and analysing satellite imagery. Perform geometric processing, calibration and atmospheric corrections of radar data for hydrological applications including floods; Perform damage assessment using photo-interpretation of optical very high resolution satellite images (e.g. assessing damage to buildings as consequences of storms, earthquakes etc.); Perform analysis of satellite images, extraction of flooded areas and impact assessment from both radar and/or optical images and production of maps and/or situation reports; Production of multi-temporal satellite analyses via Google Earth Engine processing tools; Creation of digital terrain models from very high resolution via stereoscopic optical images using the dedicated software’s (e.g. ENVI); Perform tests, evaluate and develop processes dedicated for imagery response under QGIS; Digitizing information from satellite imagery by: - Developing geodatabases with relevant content; - Producing UNOSAT maps and reports utilizing imagery and geospatial data. Undertaking applied research work on an ongoing basis to, for example: -Provide background information on disaster-related humanitarian and human security crises; - Search for and identify relevant satellite imagery from online catalogues; - Develop analytical methods for multispectral imagery, extract geospatial information from social media sites, and much more. Developing basic tools/codes under GoogleEarth engine to be added to the rapid mapping processing chain.

- Digitization and mapping of equestrian loops and hiking routes - Integration of the digitized trace of equestrian loops, registration of the trace in relation to the Cadastral Fund. - Critical analysis of the proposed routes with regard to the criteria for inclusion in the PDIPR (Plan Départemental des Itinéraires de Promenade et de Randonnées), identification of points of vigilance. - Elaboration of assembly tables by circuit.

- Field data collection with mobile GPS. - Satellite image processing with Envi and Erdas Imagine software - Mapping of land use in the two communes of Korsimoro and Koumbia (Burkina Faso)
