Fingermark provides self attendance kiosks mainly for QSR companies such as KFC AU, KFC NZ, and Hungry Jack's (Australia) but also to Health and Postal/Delivery companies. I've been involved in all phases of the software development in all projects mentioned. When I joined the company back in 2014, I helped the team during the initial development of the platform that is still heavily used nowadays by all Fingermark kiosks. It provides many hardware integrations (such as printers, payment devices, scanners, cameras) and also software integration via REST and SOAP APIs. It sends IoT events to AWS and it is fully cloud-managed, downloading its settings from AWS S3. The application itself was built using Java Desktop running locally in each kiosk.
