Introduction

I am Wouitin AYEKOWI, an ICS/OT and IT Cybersecurity Consultant, certified CISSP (Associate) and CEH, with hands-on experience across industrial environments and enterprise IT. My work sits at the intersection of operational systems, cyber risk, and governance, helping organizations protect the infrastructure and assets they rely on every day. My career has been shaped by exposure to industrial operations, corporate cybersecurity, and regulatory environments, from field-level OT systems to group-wide security governance. I support organizations in securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and corporate IT, strengthening cybersecurity maturity while aligning with standards and regulatory requirements. I have worked in environments where cybersecurity is not just a technical concern, but a business, safety, and resilience issue. This has trained me to translate cyber risk into clear priorities that decision-makers, engineers, and operational teams can act on. What I am known for includes bridging the gap between OT, IT, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC); clear communication of cyber risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; a structured and pragmatic approach to cybersecurity in industrial contexts; and supporting organizations in building sustainable, standards-aligned security practices. Where I focus my work includes industrial and critical infrastructure environments, corporate IT and hybrid IT/OT ecosystems, cyber risk management and compliance alignment, as well as security awareness and organizational cyber maturity. Protecting critical infrastructure goes beyond technology. It affects safety, continuity of operations, trust, and resilience. I am motivated by helping organizations strengthen their defenses in a way that is realistic, structured, and aligned with how they actually operate. I am open to consulting engagements, advisory roles, and cybersecurity-focused collaborations, particularly in environments where IT, OT, and governance must work together.
