I was in charge of an internal catalog-pricing intranet application. Its duty is to compare to competition prices on equivalent references, and adjusting for the 5 B2C e-commerce platforms according to each specific pricing politics. The existing service was written in Python/Django, using PostgreSQL base and a lot of bash scripts, co-operating with other internal services, providers, front-end e-commerce, and marketplaces API. It runs in a target to closest to possible real-time re-evaluation, and fail-safe operation (elegant degradation of service, in case of missing data or crashed API). The service is piloted by numerous commercial crew, one for each business unit, and was also provided to another client e-commerce group.

Scouting for new data infrastructure on media fueling a B2B2C solution. The python service is collecting newspaper, magazines and other media from various publishers, conforming them to final user delivery. The new library system is based on python, bash, postgresql, ansible, AWS (EC2+S3). Media from our partners are collected, and dispached to final users via a tablet/mobile app, branded on our clients' colours (Air France, Thalys, Orange,…) Wrote an HTML5 emulation of an native app, a Application in Single Page, available even with a full static server. This service is integrated in captive wi-fi portal, in offline context, mainly for traveller experience for on-board entertainment (mainly press). The content is a little bit obfuscated due to publishers' requirements, and is also emulating native gesture functions.
