I joined the Al – Fanar company in June 2011, as SAP Consultant for QM. This is a very big group of companies including Electrical, Construction, and Ceramics. SAP has been implemented in Al-Fanar Electrical division. My responsibilities includes: • Provide support to Electrical division for MM/QM module. • Understand the end user’s processes and configuring them in SAP. • Provide trouble shooting to the users problems. • Provide support experience in PM, SD and MM modules. • Working on the integration issues with MM, PM and SD. • Suggesting new processes to the users in SAP to automate their processes. • Give the users trainings for SAP MM/QM module. • Being a part of Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, implement SAP in different companies of Alfanar like Construction, Ceramics and DARR Engineering etc.

After successful completion of NAJM, I was assigned in next project of Ceramics division. The project is named as MURJAN. Being a part of implementation team, I implemented SAP QM module in the ceramics division of Al-Fanar. The other modules implemented were MM, PP, FICO and SD. Project is in process and the expected go-live is in March 2013. The inspections were activated on raw materials at vendor’s premises and after their receipt against Purchase Order. The quality inspections after production is configured and materials are received under three different classes. Dynamic modification was configured. Quality Info record were created in the system. Quality certificates were also configured in the system to meet the reporting requirements of the users.

Being a part of in-house implementation team, I implemented SAP QM module in the construction division of Al-Fanar. The project was named as NAJM. The other modules implemented were MM, PS,FICO and to some extent SD. Project went live successfully in September. • The inspections were activated on project materials at vendor’s premises and after their receipts at different project sites. • The most challenging part in QM was to inspect the different type of electrical, mechanical and civil activities that were going on sites. It was done with successfully and client was being satisfied with the proposed solution.

Joined the company as Senior SAP Consultant for QM / MM / PM modules. My job responsibilities include: Implemented QM module in SPIMACO from August 2007 till March 2009 along with other modules like PP and PM implemented by their respective consultants. Implemented the process of inspection of the raw material at the time of Receipts from the vendor against the purchase order. Implemented the process of inspection at the time of completion of the production of finished goods.Uploaded the inspection plans for the raw material and finished goods in order to create the inspection lots automatically. Also configures the process of stability studies for the medicines which are kept for 5 years under stability. Created different storages conditions, packages to assign them in the inspection plans. Configured the process of recording the defects against the vendors automatically in the system by using quality notification type "F2". Configured the process of recording the customer complaints by using the quality notification type "F1". I also worked on integrating the workflow with the notifications so that these notifications can be sent automatically to the concern authorities for the approvals. Beside all these activities, I have been given a new assignments to implement newer module of SAP i.e. EH&S, Environment, Health & Safety. I am in process of designing the flowcharts and analyzing the current requirements and processes of the company.

One of the growing pharmaceutical company involved in the manufacturing of vast range of medicines. I was given the responsibility to implement QM module: One of the challenge was to implement Stability Study, new sub module of QM. I accepted this as a challenge and implemeted Stability Study successfully. Involved in Life Cycle of the project. Involved in Project Planning Presented SAP Overview to Key Users and Management Project scope includes PP / SD / FI / CO / MM and QM. Developed test scripts for both unit and integration testing. Developed training and other manuals for key users and end users. Conducted Training sessions of QM module at Dewan. Configured SPC involving control charts, calculations of mean values and standard deviations of the characteristics. Created calculated characteristics in the inspection plans of the materials. Created very comprehensive reports, showing top ten defects, trends of defect in a particular period etc.

One of the leading group involved in the manufacturing of vast range of automobiles. They are also importing automobiles. They are the manufacturers of sugar and cement. I was given the responsibility of CEMENT Sector. SAP 4.7 Implementation Involved in Life Cycle of the project.
