Data migration project As part of the implementation of an ETL to migrate data and data feed jobs from SQL Server 2000 to SQLServer 2008: - Implementation of the Talend Data Integration ETL - Design and development of data migration jobs - Migration of DTS batches to Talend - Writing of technical documentation Technical environment: Talend TOS v5.2, Toad, Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, SQL, Saopui 3.5

The objective of the project is the implementation of a decision-making tool allowing to have a visibility on the number of spaces sold, reserved and available for the display of advertising on the websites: pagesjaunes.fr and pagesblanches.fr, as well as the turnover by sales channel, type of offer and geographical area. The project team consists of 4 people: 1 project manager, 2 ETL consultants and 1 consultant for the "Reporting" part. My main tasks were : - Participation in the modeling and overall design of the data warehouse used to store the data for the project's needs. - Design of the ODS layer of this warehouse. - Development of dynamic jobs for data extraction and transformation. - Development in ELT mode. - Creation of Java scripts. - Feeding of the fact table and the different dimensions. - Job scheduling and log management.
