I defended my PhD thesis, on 30th november 2009. I was supervised by Yves Deswarte, David Powell, Jean Arlat from LAAS-CNRS and Eric de Nadai from AIRBUS. My work deals with safety and security aspects in avionics: how to allow communication between high criticality level components and low criticality level ones, without altering their integrity?– My approach was to use virtualization to implement fault tolerance techniques, based on diversification and comparaison.
