Investment Compliance Officer

The Role

As an Investment Compliance Officer, you will play a key role within the Investments department, with responsibility for two core areas:

• Compliance of underlying investments linked to life insurance contracts

• Regulatory and ESG-related matters impacting investment activities

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with investment limits defined by the Luxembourg regulator, internal policies, and client investment strategies

• Contribute to the implementation and ongoing monitoring of ESG-related regulations, in close collaboration with other internal teams

• Act as a point of reference for questions related to underlying assets of insurance contracts, including derivatives, both internally and with external partners

• Analyse new legislation and internal rules and support their practical implementation

• Participate in the structuring and launch of new investment vehicles or supports

• Analyse situations, propose and implement pragmatic and flexible solutions, and actively contribute to a collective change-driven mindset

Profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field

• Strong experience in an investment restrictions / compliance analyst role within life insurance

• Solid knowledge of financial markets and instruments, life insurance investment constraints, and the ESG regulatory framework

• Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment

• Good command of portfolio management and financial analysis tools (e.g. Bloomberg, SIX or similar)

• Fluent in French and English

• Strong team spirit, good communication skills, and ease in interacting with multiple stakeholders
